Toni Aleo, Taking shots - Review.

Toni Aleo is one of those authors who is able to create something special, a whole fictional world that will suck you in and leave you wanting more. Hot hockey men, lust and true love, what more could you need in a good book?

Taking shots is the first in the unbelievably good series 'The Assassins' Who knew that a mix of Muscly men and hockey could become so addictive? Wait.... Toni did and it's fortunate that she decided to share this with the rest of us so we could all swoon with her and add another man to our book husbands list (Mine is getting rather long).

This book will suck you in and take you on a roller coaster of emotions and events, we start off by meeting Elli who is a character most women can relate to, although doing her dream job she is still filled with self doubt and confidence issues which makes you love her more. Who Wouldn't feel a little self confident and have a slightly neurotic family?

Shea Alder is the ideal man hunk, tall handsome and unbelievably ripped and toned. Although the captain of the Assassins he has that sweet side that all girls want to find in a man and it isn't long until he sweeps Elli off her feet. Shea is the modern day knight in shining. . . hockey wear? He can certainly wave his hockey stick at me anytime.

This book is perfect if you are looking for a romance that will make you; Laugh, Smile, Tear up and ultimately leave you unable to tear yourself away.

5/5 for this amazing book.
