Calia Read, Every which way - Review.

Severine Blake has seen far too many friends taken down in the crossfires of dating. She devises a precise course of action to protect her heart. The plan is working very well...until she meets Thayer and Macsen.
When the Sloan brothers come into her life, nothing is the same.

Thayer is self-possessed, arrogant and used to getting what he wants. Being near him leaves Severine unsteady and shaken. He makes her question everything.
Macsen contradicts his brother in every way. His calm personality captivates her. Severine is drawn to him instantly.
But Severine quickly discovers that when you want something, that want can turn wicked. Giving in is not always easy, especially when your heart refuses to give up the fight.

What little illusion of love Severine has is soon destroyed. Every option is broken, and the protection she has built around her heart instantly crumbles.

There's just no right way with the Sloan brothers

I want to just start off with saying that I am not usually a fan of the 'love triangle' scenario especially when it involves brothers, it can often read as a very messy story and as a reader you can end up rooting for the wrong guy. This story however I loved, there was just something original about the dynamic between all the charecters, and from the start you know who you weant Sev (Severine) to pick.

Like most girls I have an undeniable attraction to bag boys, there is just something that that takes their sexyness to another level. Thayer (amazing name by the way, I may have to steal this for my first born) is everything you know you shouldnt want but somehow that doesnt matter, you want him anyways. Just the right amount of cokyness sprinkled with some charm and whit is a lethal combination.

“I saw you first,” he rasped out deeply. “Remember that. I saw you first.”

Macsen is eveything you know you should want, safe and reliable but sometimes that just does not give you the spark you need in a relationship. Going for something just because it seems like the safer option does not always bring you happiness.

“Severine knew he was the safer route. He made her laugh. Being around Macsen gave her a calmness that normally never stuck. It made sense. For once, Severine needed to follow her logic and gut.”
If like me you enjoy reading about strong females and a fiary personality then Sev is for you, she is sassy and has that quick whit that you envy. She also have a soft side that is explored well and shows you that there are many different layers to her, she doesn't just seem like your typical leading lady there is a lot more too her that you can relate to.

The chemistry in the book is sizeling, and most of the time you are given just enough so you are left wanting more. The love scene's are enough to leave you satisfiyed plus the emotion in the book completely draws you in. For a first time writer I am very impressed by the writing style and amount of emotion and detail that was in between the pages.

The charecter and development in the storyline keeps you wanting more, just when you know what is going on and what to expect another thing is revealed. Some things are still a mystery to me especially specific charecters, but you know that you still have the opportunity to understand and solve the mysteries in upcoming books (I hope books at least, I want to know more about the 3rd brother).

If you are looking for a romance to curl up and get lost in this book is for you.

4.5/5 stars and I cannot wait to read the second book in this series.
